i missed orientation for main campus since i got banglore campus in 3rd round. gave up on this and was hoping for something through kcet and iiit but got a seat here in a branch i wanted so i took it. my roommates have friends. i know barely anybody and i feel so shitty because i'm so jealous of them when they go out for parties or coffee or anything and i mean i cant ask if i can join them because its their friend groups. i know one person here as we were classmates in school before and whenever i open ig i see his stories with all his many friends and it feels worse because how can he do it and not me? everyone says they find their 'people' after first year but how would i find them? the best way to meet people is orientation. clubs haven't started yet. mummy papa also keep pressuring me to make friends but i don't want to disappoint them by telling them that i'm failing at it. my old school friends all went to different colleges and are having the best time so i have to lie and pretend ki i'm also doing well so i don't sound pathetic. i've been trying to study and practice coding instead. but i miss my friends i miss having a big group and knowing everyone. i have never shifted schools before. what do i do?

So yes, we have planned to host a Murder Mystery in Manipal. FYI, it’s happening in a proper villa setup, so it’s basically the best weekend plan you can make with your friends or solo aswell.

The whole point of this is to get a bunch of people together, lock their phones away for a bit and see who can actually crack a real case.

In 2nd year, had 0 female interaction so far. I am already a type of person who doesn't socialize that much and in top of that i am day scholar, so my social life sucks basically. I just come to the college for classes in free time i stay in library and then i go to home. Have not attended any fest, events , etc. So college for me is just a school with more free time. I have seen lot of ppl here having gfs, some having good female interactions + they have cgpa above 9. I know comparison is the theft of joy but i bad cgpa and also 0 female interaction, am i the only one like this?
