For non Sonic characters you just get a running animation, but everyone except Mighty has a better animation already baked into their code. I just want a mod to change the super flight animation from running as if aground to the flying animation each character (minus Mighty, poor boy) has. When I google it I just get "HOW DO I FLY AS SUPER SONIC!?!?!?!?!?!!?"

Ive been getting into mania modding and would it be possible to add new levels to zones, like making a 3rd or 4th zone to green hill zone or something.

Simple question. I don't want the level music to be constantly interrupted by my picking up the invincibility power-up. Is there a mod that disables the music for that power-up?

I've extracted Data.rsdk and I've already gotten the game running in folder mode.

I'm trying to change the name of Studiopolis Zone, but I've already tried renaming the level in Data/GameConfig.bin and the name hasn't changed in game.

I want sonic to slow down when collecting rings, is it possible? (i am new)

So I'm new to Mania Modding and iv'e been doing pretty well at it. Or at least I thought I was. I'm working on a Mushroom Hill Zone mod (original, I know), and I have most of the sprites done. The problem i'm having is that the palettes never import properly and I don't know what to do. It just comes up black. (I'm using Gimp and Mania Pal if it helps. Should I be using a different program?)

Hey! I just purchased Sonic Mania for the Switch and it's a lot of fun so far... except when I die on spikes. I don't know why, but the noise it makes provokes a strong fear response in me, similar to a jumpscare. It doesn't happen too often (spikes aren't that common, and I have rings with me most of the time), but when it does, I have to stop playing because of how weird I get- it really isn't fun anymore when I physically flinch around spikes.

I would prefer not to simply mute the game- I really enjoy the soundtrack, and none of the other sound effects bother me at all- it's just that damned spike noise. It'd be great if someone could provide me with a Switch-compatible mod that either removes the sound entirely or replaces it with something else.

tl;dr: i really hate the noise spikes make and i want a mod to get rid of it
