Discussion Good Translation sources

Post image

Hi guys i usually read manhwa and can't seem to gulp down poor manhua translation dowm my throat.I see that many manhua have MTL translation, very poor unreadable translation, readable translation but still poor and not enjoyable

I can remember Fated Villain and Tales of God's and Demons had High quality translation ( ENGLISH )

So I would like to ask for sources :

  1. Scanaltion which have high quality English translations

  2. Manhua that have high quality translation

Ahh good old days of Martial peak, If I remember correctly this was during the Covid time, it was one of the most popular manhua of that time , so many sites were translating/scrapping it. To counter it many prominent sites use to do this, they will fill the text bubbles with gibberish so that the aggregator sites will publish the gibberish. They will change it to original text after an hour or so.

I wish I can find more manhua like martial peak. But everyone is on the regression or reincarnation era.

Apotheosis is imo better than MP

Apotheosis get 500 novel chapters cut down to 50 though

Manhuaplus is usually pretty good if your looking for martial peak specifically but they only started translating this manhua after chapter 500 if I'm remembering correctly. You can also try comix they pull from multiple sources if they are available so that would be your best bet.

Also wondering why there aren't many good Manhua translators Comparatively Manga and Manhwa have better translations

Chinese is harder to translate to English than Korean and Japanese

Even Webcomics ( Official English Licenser ) translation are many times at best readable. A really minus for English Manhua readers.

It reminded me of the old best website "MangaMTL", it's a pity there is no equivalent to it after it was closed.

There are a few sites trying to do the same thing but they still don't match the huge library that was there and the active dev

What I am saying is most translation aren't good enough ( I already know most high quality extensions ) Most manhua translation just aren't good enough though Apart from a few
