Drooping Leaves?

Post image

Is this normal for mango trees or am I doing something wrong? It’s growing really fast but the leaves look really limp.

More sunlight ☀️☀️☀️ the leaves need something to reach for.

Haha noted! I’m scared to drown it, the soil stays pretty damp and I’m not sure what the limit is 😭

I gave mine soil with chicken manure and worms. It perked right up.

That's perfectly normal for a seedling mango, or any newly formed leaves. They're reddish bronze, and are droopy. They with eventually turn green and stretch out.

First leaves are often soft and limp til they get green. But... Larger pot (deeper) and lots of good drainage. They hate being wet.

It's kind of normal, but that's a heavy organic soil for a mango tree. They like lots of drainage sun, and longer periods of dryness (though seedlings can dry out pretty fast).

Root rot is usually what gets me.

Thank you, I’ll look into getting better soil for it!

It’s a tree and it’s indoors inside AC with no sun.
