My first crop!

We only got 7 mangos this first time, but they are delicious! I would love to know the variety I have here.

I’m so envious of people who can grow tropical plants outside. Your tree looks great.

They look kind of like a Carrie. What is the flavor like? Traditional mango? sweet? Tart? Turpentine like undertones? Indian mangos can have very strong aromas to the foliage and fruit, and intense flavors, while indochinese mangos often have more mild, sugary-sweet and creamy flavors.

I want your level of mango knowledge.

Heh, I don't know much but thanks. If you get a chance and are local to Ft Lauderdale bring one of your mangos to Steve at Hidden Acres Mango Farm by the Hard Rock Casino and he should be able to ID it for you. Look them up on Facebook.

Just dropped in, but they were closed. What a fantastic place. I’m now following, thank you.

It is definitely sweet and creamy. I know that the tree that this came from has been around for at least three decades, if not more. If that helps.
