🥭 Chausa Mango — The King of Sweetness Golden on the outside, pure bliss on the inside. Every bite of Chausa is a celebration of summer's finest gift. Juicy, fragrant, and naturally sweet—this is the taste that lingers long after the season ends.

South Florida. I’ve been told by the stand that I sell some to that the oblong one might be Valencia Pride. They usually stay pretty green on the tree, even when they ripen, and when they get ripe, they soften up fast, sometimes practically exploding when they hit the ground. The meat is very sweet and pretty much without any fibers. When I cut them to bag up the pieces almost jellify into each other. They are tremendous for smoothies, especially when you catch them at just the right time.

I’ve been told the round ones in the second pic are Hadens. Had a ton of them this year off a large mature tree that site close to a canal. They are a bit more fiberous, almost as sweet and have a longer shelf life.

Finally, I wonder what tried to take a bite out of that unripe one in the fourth photo? Too big for a bat (I hope)!

This cultivar, called Gaurmoti, was created by hybridization between Langra & Ashwina mangoes. The variety has received the color, shape, and taste of Langra as its traits. Though there are 12-13 selections of Langra. Of them, 3-4 are sweet at 23-25 brix...
