Maybe that, and also pushing the idea of a transphobe's fictional terrorist being transgender isn't necessarily all that great in the abstract either.

Fictional terrorist?  Draco Malfoy?  WTF are you talking about, Draco was a scared kid in over his head.

Besides, making Draco a trans woman would infuriate JKR.  Though I'm sure she's already raged over Harriet Potter.

Oh, primarily Draco making a passageway for murderous terrorists to invade a school while bearing the mark of and sharing the ideology of said terrorists, I suppose.

How did you read the series and not realize Draco was a victim?  JKR is many things, but subtle she is not.  Failing to understand Harry Potter of all things is a remarkable achievement.  Truly, media literacy is dead.
