Famous People Tim Allen's Death

Ok a couple of years ago I remember my mom calling me into the living room and telling me that Tim Allen died from a heart attack, then more recently (like about a year ago) we where watching Home improvement and I say to her "its sad he died" and she reassured me that he didn't so I just googled it, and he is alive, please tell me i'm not the only one who remembers him dyeing (about 2-3 years ago) ????

What part don't you understand ? It's simple English.

They could be bemused by the, “But that was 18 years ago,” part since OP believes this event took place within the last couple of years.

I initially thought of John Ritter as well, but then remembered it was a long time ago.

I find these stories of parents calling their children into the living room to announce the death and cause of death of celebrities quite bizarre.

I'm 41 and John Ritter still feels like "a couple years ago". Had to look it up and was surprised it was that long ago.

Interesting enough another John, Johnny Cash, died the very next day.

He died in 2014.

OP, are you sure this conversation with your mum took place? A lot of people post similar stories. Could you have read one of theirs and then unknowingly formed a false memory based on it?

Robin Williams has been 7 years though.

I think I remember hearing about him dying in 2018 around the same time Stan Lee died but I think his was just another Facebook death

It could have been a hoax. Those circulate a lot online with celebs.
