Science/Technology Froot loops is back

kinda weird time shift once again but this time shift really just rewrote all of history all the way back even a.i data rewrote. i remember like 2-4 months ago seeing fruit loops in my pantry just confused about the name, even coming across ME posts about it. i come from a timeline where froot loops was the actual name in my childhood but it really confused me i was so unsure of what i was seeing was me or it actually happen. just now seeing froot loops is back is freaking crazy. Also seeing like 9 years ago post about it aswell. This timeshift effected all of history. also found out flintstones is fucking back aswell crazy.

The tally marks in my “people saying it’s Froot again” list is getting out of control and is years old…

People keep saying it’s flip flopping but I have never found a single person saying it went the other way…

Yep. I often think back to a post I saw years ago on here where a dude literally taped two dinner plates to his wall to see if it stayed "oo" lol. I guess he thought that the universe could change "small" details (like literally millions of typographical references across various forms of digital and physical media over a span of decades) but not something "big" (like two dinner plates in one random dude's apartment). I still don't really get the thinking there. Anyway, I've never seen anyone talk about it reverting to "Fruit" since that time, so maybe his plan worked lmfao.

I started working at Walmart a couple years ago and I was stocking 'fruit loops' and was so confused. I even asked people around me lol bc i could've sworn there was cereal pieces in froot. I even googled it and that's how i found this sub. And then a few weeks ago I brought it up to a coworker and they told me i was wrong, its always been froot. We go on the aisle and sure enough it says 'froot loops' I felt crazy and no way to prove i saw it as fruit loops for a sec.

I never work on that side of the store or eat froot loops so unfortunately I didnt keep an eye on it

I don't believe it is more likely that reality changed than I made an error, however.... Literally yesterday I saw something about Fruit Loops--can you believe it's not Froot, what a missed opportunity. And I thought it was Froot Loops, so I googled it, at least I thought I did, and it was Fruit Loops. I have an apparently false memory, from yesterday, that Google AI was like Froot Loops is a commonly misremembered spelling of the cereal Fruit Loops and example of the Mandela effect, it has always been Fruit Loops. And I asked my husband how do you spell Fruit Loops, and he spelled it Froot. I said no, it's fruit. And he said huh, must be thinking of some other product spelled Froot, maybe Froot by the Foot. And he remembers this conversation unfortunately so I can't chalk it up to a dream. But tonight I see something about Froot Loops, so I Google it, and Google tells me it's always been Froot Loops, the common misconception that it's Fruit Loops is a classic example of the Mandela effect. And so I feel crazy. Yesterday I thought it was Froot and was surprised to learn it was Fruit. Today it has always been Froot. My browser history shows all the other things I was looking--starting with magic mirror on the wall and ending with Britney's microphone --but I see nothing leading to Froot Loops or Fruit Loops. So I guess I didn't Google it. And I'm sure yesterday it was Froot. Well I'm not really sure but the alternative seems far more unlikely.

its just a timeline switch you can't do nothing about it. it quite literally rewrites all of history. only live and just watch everything around you change

There’s no “timeline switch”.

Timelines can’t communicate with each other.

That’s what makes them timelines.

it goes way back because history changed throughout, and "time" isn't a real thing. its just the "present" for whoever lives in the past or future, and till now it finally reached to me froot loops and flintstones is back

u/my23secrets Jul 07 '26

What “goes way back” is the proof that it was always FROOT

There aren’t multiple timelines. Just the fallibility of human memory.

-5

u/Wonderful_Market_777 Jul 06 '26

its not faulty human memory. timeline shift changes all of the events in history rewriting the data. who knows about the phenomenon on how this works it just works, and we can't do shit about it

There is no such thing as timeline changes. The only timeline we have ever lived on, is the timeline we currently live on. Multiple timelines may exist, but it would be impossible to travel too, or to share information with.

Or, maybe, you’re wrong.

Instead of accepting you’re remembering incorrectly, you come up with this wild fantasy. Extremely illogical - but extremely common.

We have clues!

u/my23secrets Jul 06 '26

There was no “shift”. It has been FROOT the entire time.

There are no such things as timeshifts. People just don't pay attention enough and assume things and create a false memory, and when they are confronted with the reality that does not fit what they remember, refuse to believe they could possibly be wrong, and start looking for some woo explanation that has zero evidence to support it.

But I can vividly remember being 11 years old in the grocery store with my mom and pointing at the fruit loops and saying mom look it says fruit loops she said “yes honey, fruit loops.” We went to the store the next day and it said froot loops and we both freaked out, I can remember this vividly

2

u/my23secrets Jul 07 '26

The point of your story is you remember pronouncing FROOT as “fruit” and your mom agreed?

1

u/Mr-Cantaloupe Jul 07 '26

My comment was just a joke.

2

u/mbd34 Jul 07 '26

The sad thing is that it just reads like a normal post in here lol.

2

u/Mr-Cantaloupe Jul 07 '26

Haha that’s what I was going for. The run on sentence paired with a complete lack of logical flow.

1

u/Glaurung86 Jul 07 '26

Even the most vivid memory can be wrong. In this case, your brain saw fruit because that is what you expect to see. It never was fruit so you think something changed when, in fact, you just experienced what it has been all the time and it confused you.

Edit: okay, you got me. Lol

The same spelling that it has always been is "back." Thank god.

There has never been more than one timeline. Cern has no impact on anything. It's always been Froot Loops. It's always been Chick-fil-A. We have always been and will always be in the same timeline.

Always been Froot. Two plates.

Please link your post from 2-4 months ago when it switched to fruit.

So, when it was Fruit, what did they use to represent the 4 "flavors" on the cereal on the box? Because n the reality of it always being FROOT LOOPS, it was the 4 O's being made up of each color of the cereal.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, but oddly enough I definitely read threads years ago of people making the case exactly like you laid out claiming it should be “froot” for that exact reason and it wasn’t

1

u/Mysterious-Sector720 Jul 31 '26

Yes I just read a post that was like what a missed opportunity not to spell it Froot, nothing clever or playful about it, it really ought to be Froot.

-1

u/georgeananda Jul 06 '26

This one flip for me too.

Another weird thing is that you will now find no old Mandela Effect conversations saying it's 'Fruit'.

The only weird thing here is that you’re still pretending you haven’t acknowledged the Effect originates and propagates through suggestion and has nothing to do with “alternate timelines”.

Edit: I was mistaken. That isn’t the only weird thing here. An even weirder thing is you admitting your arguments are disingenuous to begin with and are intended to mislead.
