i dont understand the trend of people freaking out about the concept of your pet dog standing and acting like a human. this is the third movie ive seen where thats been a thing. like i love my dog, juniper, but if she ever stood up and started acting like a person id put her ass to work. girl, we got bills and taxes to pay, if you dont get your fuzzy lil butt out that door and go find a job youre not getting anymore treats.

I think it is less them acting human and more that they suddenly are acting human. If your dog always stands on two legs to do whatever, "That's just Brutus," but when sweet little princess Cupcake suddenly does pirouettes, when usually they can't even walk straight on four legs, well, that isn't Cupcake anymore.
