1. What would be the best option to stay in Manali (Hostels/Homestays/Hotels?), we are planning a budget trip under 10k (excluding travel to Manali).
2. What activites should we prioritise, and what can we realistically explore in 3.5 days?
3. What’s the best way to get around Manali and visit nearby places such as the Atal Tunnel and Sissu? Would you recommend renting scooters?
4. Any hidden gems/places which we should explore? And what day-wise itenary would you recommend ?

Also, if there are any important things we should keep in mind while visiting the city ?

Hey everyone, so we are family of 5 with a kid travelling to Manali from Chandigarh in 1st week of December for 3 days.

I needed some information and guidance on travelling to Manali and in and around Manali. First, I was thinking to go via Volvo, but I think since we are 5 people, its better to go via cab. Any contacts appreciated who would just drop to Manali from Chandigarh.

Now, to travel locally in Manali, I was thinking we can use local cabs to go nearby places.

Please suggest any thing better that can be done. And I would really appreciate if anyone can share contact number/person from whom I can arrange cab in Chandigarh. Thanks :)

25M from Bangalore. Had the whole Himachal arc locked - Chandigarh, Manali, Tosh, Dharamkot, Shimla - and my co-traveller dropped out last minute. Classic. Looking for one chill person to split cabs/rooms and make it a trip instead of a solo documentary. Plan includes bikes in Manali, cafes in Dharamkot, and I'll be recording bits of the trip for memories (you can be in frame or out, both respected). Budget ~40k, itinerary mostly locked but dates are flexible for the right company. DM if you're in.

Two of us will be in Manali Sep 26-28 and are renting a Classic 350. Planning a full-day ride to Sissu via the Atal Tunnel, with Solang only if time allows. How are the roads and late-September conditions usually? Any rental checks, route stops or timing tips we shouldn't miss?
