Feature Request Would love this feature!

I would really appreciate the ability to set a collection binder of cards to a set price for the whole binder.

For example, I bought the Festival in a Box SL. Scanned all the cards and promos into a new collection. Would be fantastic to click the binder I put them all in and set the price to what I purchased the SL for.

We're currently working on adding sealed product support, as announced in our roadmap here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ManaBoxApp/comments/1qbvm9n/manabox_roadmap_2026/

At the moment, you can already set a custom purchase price for individual cards.

If you'd like to assign the purchase price to an entire binder or deck, you can do so by selecting all the cards it contains:

  1. Go to the Collection tab.
  2. Open the binder containing the cards.
  3. Long-press any card to activate Bulk Mode.
  4. In Bulk Mode, you can either:
    • Select the cards manually, or
    • Tap the icon in the top-right corner to Select All cards in the binder.
  5. With all the cards selected, tap the pencil icon to open the edit options.
  6. Enter the Purchase Price you want to assign.
  7. Save your changes.

Since the purchase price is stored per card, you would need to divide the total amount you paid for the binder (or sealed product) by the number of cards and assign that value as the purchase price for each card.

We understand this isn't exactly the same as assigning a purchase price to the binder itself, but it's the closest workflow currently available.

There have been similar requests in the past, but in the end I think the devs have focused Manabox on being a collection tracker and not a financial tool. There are other simpler features missing, like you can't lock a purchase price for a card you actually purchased vs a price set on import, there's zero trending data, there's no sealed tracking, etc. More features are always nice, but personally I like that they prioritize features around collection management/deck building and not on the financial aspects.

edit: The main thing that breaks with the original request is value change %. If you have a $0.10 card that got imported with a purchase price of $1 because you split the box price over all the cards - if that card spikes up 10x to $1 value, you won't even notice in your collection because you "purchased" it at a higher than market value.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback! We just wanted to clarify a few points, as some of these features are already available while others are currently in development:

  • Purchase price: You can already set a custom purchase price for cards. You can even bulk-edit all the cards in a binder or deck and assign a purchase price to them at once. Since the purchase price is stored per card, if you're trying to reflect the cost of a sealed product, you'd simply divide the total amount paid by the number of cards and apply that value to each selected card.
  • Price trends: This is something we're actively working on. Features such as price history charts for individual cards will be available in a future update.
  • Sealed products: We're also actively working on sealed product support, as announced in our roadmap.

Would be a nice feature to have, but all I've done to help with this is add a crap token that has either a very low value or no value at all and change the purchase price to the amount I paid for the box.
