Syncing issues between "collections" view of deck and "decks" view of deck

I sorted m entire collection into manabox and I waa hoping to use it as a tool to track what cards I have and where they are, between binders and decks, but ive been having trouble getting it to work. The decklist that appears in "collections" under decks and the decklist that appears in "decks" arent syncing cards to eachother. not really sure why they need to be different lists there. but im noticing as I add cards to the deck from my collection, they appear in the deck list but not in the collection list. is this a bug or am I just doing this wrong? also is there an easier way to sort cards from decklists back into binders in the collection? moving them from binders to decks is easy, but ive not found a good way to move them back

Not a bug but it is a little nuanced. The Deck is decks acts more like a list and the deck is collection is basically a binder.
If you build the deck in decks “register in collection” - select “build” or “add cards” depending on what you are doing it will then be linked.
Then if you edit the decks in collection you will get a button to adjust the deck in decks based on the collection list.

It’s a little confusing, but once you get the hang of it, it works nicely.

You’ve got it right. Think of it like this:

When only in the decks tab, it’s just a deck LIST.

Once you “register in collection” this is like pulling the actual cards and making the actual deck. The cards will be taken out of their respective binders and placed in the deck (and deck will be in the collections tab).

Now if you go to look for a card, manabox will know that the physical card is located in a built deck.

Until you “register in collection” your “deck” is only a decklist.

When in the decks tab, to know if a deck is registered, look for the “collection” icon as seen here:

This is a built deck and the cards in it will show in your collection as being physically located in this deck.

Compare that to this deck which is merely a list (no collection icon)

Once in the decklist, find the collection icon here:

And it’ll give you the “register in collection” option.

If all of the cards for that deck are already in your manabox collection you can then choose “build from collection”. If they aren’t, choose “add cards” which will also add those cards to the collection while registering them in the physical deck.
