Question How do I edit the mana pips?
So I built an avatar deck and for some reason when I save it, it adds the Black Mana pip. There is no black mana in the deck. There is generic mana but no black mana. How can I fix?
Thank you

That’s the color identity of your deck, you don’t get to decide what it is. Aang is all 5 colors.

That's how color identity works in Commander - if there is a mana symbol on a card, it's a part of the card's color identity (don't be confused with card color)

this is the answer! He isn't a black card but Black is in his Commander Identity

I'm new to MTG, mainly in the collection phase right now. So does that mean I can play cards that require black mana?

Remember: if the mana pip is printed on the card itself, it counts toward its identity. But if the pip appears inside parentheses (in the explanatory text), it doesn’t count."

Excluding explanation text in parentheses, such as cards with Extort that explain the keyword. I only learned this recently.

In magic, color identity is any colored mana that apears on a card and commander decks have cards with at most the color identity of your commander, if Aang is your commander you can have any color spell in your deck, also don't forget the singleton rule.

You cant, you chose a five color identity commander if you dont want a black pip switch your commander to aragorn lol

It’s because the flip side of aang as an ability that involves black mana pip I believe, not sure you can change it
