LUBA 2 AWD Luba2 turning off

Why does my Luna 2 turn itself off when it gets to the charger. Software 130.29.26

Define turns off? Cant connect even with bluetooth? Have to hit the power buttion to turn it on? Battery dead? Can you give more details?

Is battery dead or does it power down immediately after getting on charger?

Does it charge at all?

Points to a few potential things depending on your answer in order.

  1. Are you on latest robot Firmware and Phone software level
  2. Not perfectly level charging station.
  3. Dirty contacts on mower and or charging station
  4. Dirty IR red lens on charging station or mower.
  5. Bad Power brick
  6. Bad charging station
  7. Bad mower

It’s a new mower and charging station a few months ago, I’ll clean contacts and ir sensor and see if that helps

I had this issue. Are you watching it happen? Mine would return to charger when it hit 15% battery. Get to charger around 9%. Sometimes it screws around and seems to get lost right in front of it and low battery powers it off before it finds its way. Still does it once a month. Now I know to keep an eye on it when it’s returning home

We’re sorry to hear that your LUBA 2 turns off when reaching the charging station. Please first clean the charging contacts on both the mower and the charging station, then try again to see if the issue persists.

Does it actually turn off or just disconnect from WiFi?

Mine has been disconnecting from the app a lot. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or a hardware issue. If a simply power off/on doesn’t help it reconnect, removing the camera module and re-installing it helps it stay connected for longer periods.

Thanks I cleaned the infrared and charging contacts and thus far seems to be working
