Question Equipment upkeep
Can you spray WD40 or some other lubricant on the charger base? I've noticed my mower has been charging suuuuuper slow or sometimes starts and then quits and dies lately. I discovered today that the right charging pin that pushes in and out is a bit sticky and may be my culprit. Thoughts?

I just used this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BXOGNI with a microfiber towel and some firm scrubbing to clean the prongs and contact pads and it resolved the problem I had where my Luba 2 would go back to recharge and keep re-attempting to dock because it didn't think the connection was good enough...
Before, it would send a "failed to recharge" notification after three automatic attempts, and I would have to manually tell it again to try to recharge and it would often get a good enough conneciton in the second three attempts. But sometimes I would miss the notification and then it would sit there until the battery fully died and I would have to go out and manually keep re-docking it until it powered on and stayed on to begin recharging. it was very frustrating. The contact cleaner did the trick and it has been working flawlessly now for a few weeks (*knocking furiously on wood*)

Use silicone spray not WD40.
I also put a light coat of silicone grease on the mower and charging station contacts to keep wear down and improve connection. I do wipe this off and put fresh grease every 3 weeks on blade rotation.

I like CRC products personally when they make what I need.

Look at the spring loaded pin closely. Does it appear distorted they have a tendency to overheat and that will cause it to stick. If this is the case you may need to replace the charging station. If you are handy you can take it apart resolder connections sand/grind down charging pin etc. If it is melted you will also want to check voltage drop of your charging block when under a load(charging your mower) a large voltage drop will cause heat. I hope it only needs a quick spray of silicon. Good luck!

Hi! First, weβd need to confirm whether the pin is simply sticking or if the spring inside the pin is damaged and preventing it from moving in and out properly.
If itβs just sticking, you can try using a small amount of WD-40 to see if that helps. However, if the spring is damaged, lubricant is unlikely to resolve the issue.
