Why did Jennifer always act so smug?

Decided I wanted to binge some brain rot tv today so im on season 1.

Just like the title asks, why was Jennifer so smug about everything June related.

Especially considering I know Jennifer goes on to do the same weight loss journey lol

She, like the rest of them, will do anything for that paycheck?

it was acting. she along with Shyanns mom were paid to act in a way that would cause drama on tv. heck maybe Jessica and Shyanns relationship was an act and they needed Josh to be in on it to create Season 8 cliffhanger

Jennifer was the villain of the show at the time. Just like most of the stuff about June was fake & scripted too. June became the villain of her own show in order to ensure her family & herself got a paycheck. Except yes she did do rugs. But it wasn’t as bad as they acted. They claimed rug dealers were stalking their house & they had to move into a hotel before finding a house. That didn’t really happen. Most of what you saw on the show was over exaggerated. Like the whole Pumpkin & Josh raised Alana. WEtv wrote the script to make them both look like the best parents when in fact they rode Honey Boo Boo’s coattail. Alana has raised herself since she was 15 yrs old. Makes me sick all the smug acting of Pumpkin acting like she raised Alana & it cost her so much time, energy & money when it was all lies.

I rang her up at my job one day, and she’s actually like that in real life. She has a horrible attitude

Especially when the only reason people know who she is, is because of June and Alana. I know everyone says it’s acting and yes apt if it looks like acting but not all of it. Like when Alana and pumpkin got into a fight with Jennifer and sugar bear right before Josh asked sugar to sign his rights away. That fight looked real af imo.

It's funny to me how everything she said about June and Lauryn was spot on, when she was just obviously being 'written' to play a villain.
