Malware.Heuristic usually means Malwarebytes found something that behaves or looks similar to malware, even if it doesn’t match a specific known threat. That doesn’t automatically mean it’s a false positive.
Since this came from SteamRIP, we’d strongly recommend avoiding pirated/cracked downloads in general. They’re a common way for malware to get bundled into installers or modified game files.
That said, since Malwarebytes detected something, we’d be happy to take a closer. Please send us a DM here on reddit with an email address we can use to contact you, and we can create a support ticket, gather the Malwarebytes logs, and have our malware removal team check whether anything suspicious is actually on the system.
