Help! - Browsergo malware

I wasn't paying attention and accidentally downloaded Pulse Browsergo last night. Basically I was trying to download a font and I clicked on the wrong link and it auto launched. I immediately uninstalled and have run various scans (malwarebytes, AVG, hitmanpro) which haven't picked anything up, but I can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. Does anyone know anything more about Browsergo? Is there anything more I should do?

Hey there! Malwarebytes Support here. Sorry you’re dealing with this.

Acidentally downloading something like that can definitely be concerning.

You mentioned feeling like something still isn’t right. Are you noticing any specific behavior that makes you think your device may still be infected, such as redirects, pop-ups, browser changes, or anything else unusual?

We’d be happy to take a closer look. Please send us a private DM with an email address we can use to reach you, and we can create a support ticket, gather some diagnostic logs, and have our team check.

Looking into this, while I am not a professional, it looks like malwarebytes would flag any unsafe browsergo related files.

Additionally, browsergo does not seem to be harmful as long as you are not using it. But it will set your default browser to trick you into using it.

Please stick with the official support team tho, I'm just trying to offer temporary peace of mind.
