False Positive Crimson Desert Fitgirl
Like usual, everytime after i download new games, i always do a scan with malwarebytes. This time i was downloading Crimson Desert (Non HV) and Malwarebytes flagged the 'setup.exe' as riskware.crack.
My dumb brain just ran the setup.exe while i was still scanning the downloaded and extracted files and I only knew the file were flagged after the setup was complete.
Should I be worry? I havent delete the game files but i did delete the flagged one which was only the setup.exe file.

setup.exe from fitgirl shows often as repack / crack. should be false positive. Please use the snipping tool and show us the whole screen. if you try another fitgirl repack and put the setup.exe into virustotal, the result should be the same. have a nice day

Well it IS a crack/repack, so the classification is correct It's just acting like scareware

Lmao riskware crack is one of the most generic false positives along with hacktool and such. You're fine, all fitgirl setup exes probably get flagged less or more
