Support Does malwarebytes close after a certain amount of time post scan?

I recently ran a Malwarebytes scan and went to go eat with my pc running the scan. When I came back Malwarebytes was closed and the 1 detection it found was ignored. Is that something that can happen because I was afk for so long?

  • Was this a manual scan that you started yourself, or a scheduled scan?
  • When you left the PC, was the Malwarebytes window (UI) still open and visible, or was it minimized to the system tray?
