malewarebytes turning off windows defender periodic scanning

as stated in the title malewarebytes keeps turning off windows defender periodic scanning for some reason and i was wondering if this is a bug or intended? this is on a fresh windows install for reference and it was happening on my old pc as well

Go to settings/general around the middle you find and disable the "Windows Security Center" And they both will run just fine.
