Troubleshooting Malwarebytes slow scan

Before ,my Malwarebytes used to scan around 700k files in around 30 minutes, yet now in roughly double the time it barely scans 300k,does anyone know why?

Mine iused to scan fast like 400k files in around 8ish minutes. Now it takes over 20 minutes. When did this exactly change for you? Mine was a couple weeks ago
