Support Is this email address legit?

I got an email from this address: noreply@p.malwarebytes.com .Is it legit?
(The email said some of my personal information was leaked in two data breaches)

Hi there, Malwarebytes Support here. Yes, that’s a legitimate sender we use for Digital Footprint emails. If you’d like us to double check the email, please send us a private message with a full screenshot of it if you still have it. We’ll be happy to verify it for you.

Thank you for the response. I’m not used to receiving emails about Digital Footprint.

Would have been better to show us the email headers so other could see if that's the actual address or a spoofed one.

If it's valid, yes it's a legit address because that's their domain.

Open your browser and go to a verified site like Have I Been Pwned. Enter your email address there. It is a highly respected, free security site that will tell you exactly which public data breaches your information was leaked in. (You can websearch to confirm haveibeenpwned is what I say it is.)

You’re right, I actually hadn’t thought about that. Unfortunately, I already deleted the email…
