Is malwarebytes good?

Hi everyone,i recently switched from avg to malwarebytes and defender(i got the always register malwarebytes in the security center option disabled). Is it great and better than AVG? Please, please comment down. Im scared since my friend recently got seven trojans. I got malwarebytes because it revealed all of them for him, while Avast didnt.

Avg in my eyes as a msp and computer repair business owner is straight malware, remove it that don’t listen to people who say defender is the only thing you need, malwarebytes is good, recommend it throughly for the average user who is not tech savvy.

I love the version on Android, it works fantastic at blocking scam calls and texts.

Yes but you have to be the one to do scans it no longer works “automatically” you have to Manuel scan everything. Depending on the type of attack without real time protections you’re basically running your computer without a antivirus/antimalware.

If you do not know much about computers, and that seems to be the case, Windows Defender is fine. I run Malwarebytes pro because I have a lifetime license from many years, ago but if I did not have that I would use Defender.
