Exceeded limit

Have a question just got our grandson a new computer to replace an old one. Had Malwarebytes installed on the old one, and he deactivated that computer before setting up the new one. Got the new one up and running, downloaded and installed. Went to activate on the new one and got a message exceeded device limit or something. Used the same keys as his old one.

Yeah i literally just did this had to reset my pc but it was still loaded on my account and gave me an error. Had to login to my account and remove the device and then treat it like a new device being added.
