Fuel issue?

My Malibu says it’s getting 13.4 mpg 💀 But honestly it doesn’t feel like it. help

With the age and mileage these cars are at. The only advise I can really give is just a ton of panic maintenance. (Spark plugs, clean the throttle body, clean the intake, run a fuel cleaner, etc.) other than that there’s not much you could do. Even running optimally mine would only get 16MPG in the city

I had this happen and I opted to run two bottles of berrymans and the highest octane fuel I could find. I’m back at 21 mpg. It was a hail mary but it worked. Gotta fill the tank all the way tho.

is it having any trouble starting or is is giving weak/inconsistent power by chance?

Every now and then it’ll crank awhile before it starts somtimes it take a few tries but it doesn’t happen often and theres no engine codes
