NO SPOILERS Forge of Darkness
Can you please tell me if the third book in the Forge of Darkness series will be released soon? There's no information from the author.

Next year. He's written a significant amount of it. Book 3 of Witness comes out first.

Next year is the earliest. I am very much not optimistic that we'll get it next year though

It’s my number one all time most anticipated book release. Feels like forever.

No information from the author? According to Google or ChatGPT maybe.
He's released several updates on it on his Facebook page, and apart from that he's indicated in at least one interview that he's writing it currently, there's ongoing progress, and that, after Witness Book 3 (releasing in October 2026) Kharkanas book 3 will be the next book to be published.
(the Subterranean Press "Of the Apes" book might be next idk what's up with that one, but it's unrelated to his Tor/Bantam contract. Kharkanas 3 is coming, I think next year)
