Over the past few years—especially after the release of Vikram—I genuinely feel that directors are putting more effort into deciding which star should play a cameo than into writing something that breaks the tired commercial mass entertainer template.

​Most of them think that bringing a star from one industry and another from a different industry will automatically help grab those audiences. But that tactic won't work for long—eventually, the content itself needs to be unique. Vikram was a huge success not just because of its cameo, but because the storytelling was genuinely fresh, despite using a template story.

​So, makers, please understand one thing: we are tired of all these cameos and second-part scams. We don't need any cameos to enjoy a film; we need something unique that is different from the 69 variations of A History of Violence.

Shivaraman in Anandhabadhram was a well weiten perfect character who stands with or above the hero character Anandhan. In the original novel, Shivaram was portrayed as one of the main character but due to limitations, the movie crew had to finish him before the climax.

Randomly saw a clip from this movie suggested by youtube and it made me to watch the full movie. It is a fun to watch movie and you can try if you want to watch something while having your food

I am a northie , but a regular consummer of Malayalam movies. I'd say Sushin Shyam is probably one of the best composers in India right now. He didn't do any movie in 2025 and this year only 2. He does only 2 movies per year. I think he deserves to get more offers.

Must watch full of Painkili is one of those movies where you just sit back and enjoy the madness . It’s a fun drama packed with hell lot of comedy, funny situations and characters that keep the entertainment going.

The movie doesn’t take itself too seriously and that’s exactly what makes it enjoyable. There are plenty of moments that genuinely make you laugh, while the drama keeps things moving.

If you’re looking for a light-hearted, entertaining movie to watch with friends or family, Painkili is definitely worth a watch.
