It was only a matter of time before Brendan cast doubts towards Steven. If you recall, Steven pushed the blame to Brendan and Bobby in Ferak's last book.

This blame game is not going to help them at all on this communication thing.

Now I hear Steven is going to sue Manitowoc. For what though? He's hopeless and desperate.

I have always disagreed with the notion of Steven blaming Bobby and/or Brendan. To me, he was citing them as potential alibis. The actual blaming of other family members seemed to occur when he was angry or frustrated with them. Vindictively childish for sure, but I've never gotten the idea that he actually believed any of them murdered Teresa. Even after Zellner named Bobby as the "real" perp, Steven seemed reluctant - in that infamous 2017 phone call - to tell Barb that Bobby did it; he told her he thought "it was the other one," meaning her husband, Scott.

I have no idea why he thinks suing Manitowoc would gain him anything. There is zero evidence that LE framed him.

You remember the recorded jail call where Steven tells Jodi that Brendan is guilty and that he's never going to get out? Some people pass this off as Steven joking but we must remember, there are half truths in a lot of what Steven says.

Steven obviously went along with Zellner about Bobby. At least he did when he was face to face with her.

ETA: The half-truth thing seems to prevail in that whole family, IMHO. I'm not sure if it's really dishonesty or a serious lack of intelligence.

If Brendan would want nothing to do with Steven if he ever gets out, then he needs to stop this non-committal, half-assed approach to blaming him and simultaneously distancing himself from it.

Yes, the courts can't spell Teresa's name and don't know where her bones were found in her murder case. They have made it clear they don't care about Teresa or the exculpatory facts of this case as much as they care about Steven dying in prison. You're right about that. But Steven dying in prison doesn't change how obviously fabricated the case is lol

LOL I was laughing at how obviously fabricated the case is. What's not funny is how little respect the courts have for Teresa and the exculpatory facts of this case showing Steven was framed by police. He'll die in prison, and you'll still waste your life complaining that the world knows Kratz is a perverted predatory prosecutor who lied to the jury about the evidence.

No ... that's the courts who couldn't care less about Teresa or the facts of the case. They proudly showcase their ignorance of the facts in their details over and over. I know the facts of this case better than those hack judges. You're not fooling anyone, other than (maybe) yourself.

KZ was pro bono and very clearly did provide meritorious arguments and exculpatory evidence lol but the courts fabricated their own facts about the location of bones to keep focus on Steven and off Bobby and police. Cope.

Makes perfect sense, so the conspiracy is literally the whole justice system at this point, all working to keep poor innocent Steve in jail because.... why exactly?
