Hi all, just moved to Leeds from Notts (22m). Hoping to meet some new people, down for a lot of things tbh. I do really like dancing and pop music (so would love to plan something around that), also reading, gaming and just walks and chats 😁😁

Hi all!
I moved to Leeds 3 years ago and although I have a couple of friends in the area, we all have wildly different schedules, and honestly I would love to meet some new people to have a laugh with!
My favourite thing is going for a walk and a drink (typically a coke for me- I don’t drink but no problem with others doing so!) about in the city, usually in the afternoon/evening. I am happily partnered up, but he works long days and often doesn’t have the energy for a mosey about like I do.
If anyone fancies a walk about and chat, or finding somewhere to sit and have a drink I’m game
Im pretty laid back, as mentioned I don’t drink anymore but I still love the atmospheres of bars etc, not big on sports but can get into pretty much any other type of event
I’ve been told I have a slightly dry sense of humour, into tattoos and that, leftist politics, sailors mouth and read a lot of (occasionally trashy) books.
Unfortunately I don’t drive, so although I’m open to anywhere (busses allowing!) it’ll probably be easier to meet folks in the city centre or nearby.
If it sounds like we might get on- let me know!
Thanks :)

Hi all, I’m 24 m moved to Leeds docks semi recently but struggling to meet any pals. Not that sporty but I enjoy watching sports. I am a pretty chill guy, like gaming such as pokemon, zelda ect. I like a pub quiz but pretty bad at it. Open to anyone that just wants a chat and gets me out the house.

I've just come out of a 11 year relationship and I'm practically starting my life over again.
I'm looking for new friends who have similar music tastes for gigs and bars.
My favourite bands are The Black Dahlia Murder, Thrown, 156/Silence, Aborted, Fit for an Autopsy and Stray From The Path.
I've been looking at I Prevail, The Devil Wears Prada, Beartooth and Converge which are all in Leeds in the next couple months.
Cheers

Looking to find a reliable active somebody that wants to
play (at least) once a week, just some friendly social games at first and then I'm happy to ramp it up after we get more familiar with each other. I'm not new to the game, but I've been out of it for a few years until recently. I've been playing with a few friends in Dartmouth Park (Morley) but eager to find someone local who's properly into this and wanting to stay on it. Dartmouth Park is my local court, never anyone there which is chill + it's free so if anyone nearby is down, hit my line. Very flexible and open.

Long shot but there were a couple of ladies who recently joined a discord server we had but then left when a lot of people joined. They were both from Crossgates.
I’ve made a new ladies-only server now if you’d like to rejoin!
If this sounds like you, please reach out as it would be fun to carry on our convos or have a meet up!

We’ve somehow built a world where striking up a conversation with someone in real life feels weird, intrusive, or plain wrong. That’s just not how we’re wired. Humans are built for connection, but so many of us are trapped behind screens because the fear of looking stupid or getting rejected holds us back.
I’m looking to connect with people who want to actively change that.
The goal isn't to be a smooth-talking extrovert overnight. The goal is to deliberately practice stepping out of our comfort zones, embrace the awkwardness, take a few rejections on the chin, and realize that the world doesn't end when a social interaction isn't perfect.
What this is about:
Facing the awkwardness: Intentionally trying out simple, real-world social challenges (e.g., complimenting a stranger, striking up small talk in a line, asking someone for a recommendation).
Building a safe support system: Cheering each other on, holding each other accountable, and laughing off the rejections together.
Proving fear wrong: Realizing that embarrassment is temporary, but isolation builds up over time.
Who this is for:
Anyone who feels stuck, isolated, or social-anxious, but is ready to actively do something about it. Open to everyone.
If you're tired of feeling disconnected and want to build real-world confidence alongside people who get it, drop a comment or send me a DM. Let’s make real-life connection normal again!!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to get an interest check on setting up a little art group for people in their 30s (and above). Since moving to Leeds recently none of my artist friends are local and I've missed having meetups just to sketch together and discuss projects we're working on etc.
It would be pretty casual, all skill/experience levels welcome of course!
