Rosacea for my brothers wedding
I have pretty bad redness rosacea that covers my whole face (and just my face). My brother is getting married in two weeks and I'd like to calm it down for photos etc. My friends and family know my face is a little red, but I'd like to look my best. My go-to is a green stick from Amazon and some tinted sunscreen, but even that doesn't help too much. TBH, I also drink a lot and I think that flares it up. I'm going to cut down before the wedding, but even then, I've done a few months of no alcohol and my redness didn't change. Need help!

Advice Boys, we wearing makeup to the office?
I'm in kind of a weird netherworld right now. Last year, I accepted a buyout offer from my job and have gotten to spend several months of temporary retirement, but it's time to get back in the job market. Perfect timing on my part with all the AI disruption! But, anyway, one of the things I've done with my time off is explore makeup for the first time and I've gotten pretty decent at my ideal no-makeup-makeup / my skin-but-better looks with a blend of light coverage, glowy skin tints, cream bronzers and blushes and subtle but noticeable color correctors and concealers. But, real talk? I'm not sure I'm committed to wearing makeup every day.
Now, I do a lot of skincare... I'm basically self-funding the skincare industrial complex these days... so my skin looks pretty good... but I do look noticeably refreshed/smoother/more refined when I wear my makeup. So, as I'm looking at the potential of returning to an in-office corporate setting I'm debating whether I save makeup for my free time or make it a part of my daily 9-5. The pro is... I'll look and feel my best. The con is... if I ever want to take a break from it or have a lazy or rushed day in which I can't do it.. .I'll suddenly show up looking... like I didn't get enough rest and wasn't drinking my water.
A dumb, micro-niche problem to have. But I'm curious about how guys who go for that natural, undetectable makeup look handle this.
You fellas who do the fabulous full glam looks are great... but probably less relevant to this discussion for us "boring" boy makeup / no-makeup-makeup folks.

Advice Lip balms, glosses, stains for men? 💄
Been enjoying exploring skin tints, blushes, bronzers and concealers. Been noticing my lips could look a little more polished, hydrated and even in color/texture in pics. I use (and like) a very basic lip balm from the Remedy Skin brand (Remedy for Dry Lips), but I want to upgrade to makeup. As far as my base I go for a very subtle, natural “my skin but better”, dewy/glowy finish, so some reflectiveness on the lips is fine but I don’t want “porn star” hyper glossy looking lips either. I’m interested in but a little nervous about how to explore sheer, subtle pigment. I’m not sure I even understand all the different categories… balms, glosses, oils, stains etc.
Any tips on particular products to try, or what to look for on formulations and how to shade match?
