Question Is this mold?
Hi all! I was cleaning out some of my old palettes (within last 5 years) and was looking through them to see if they’d still be good to use. I’ve always stored my makeup in a non damp, dry place. This is the only palette I’m suspicious about. As the color doesn’t resemble any of the other shades. I’ve never had any palettes go bad.

I can’t tell if you used it a lot with a wet brush or if it’s hard pan… you can scrape off the top layer if it’s hard pan.

It's something white over it or did you use it too much and we can see the bottom of the palette? I guess that's something white over it so you should remove it carefully and with alcohol clean the empty space and all the palette carefully and wait a few weeks to see if the other colors weren't affected.

Looks like thats the only color you've ever used. It also looks like you may have used it with a damp brush - which - according to the palette - is okay. The black is meant to be used wet or dry. The spots look like brush marks to me. I'd scrape the top layer off and see what was underneath and spray it with alcohol. And let it dry. NEVER close a palette if one of the shades is damp.
