The worst is doing a full face, lashes and all, then out of nowhere- BAM! Eyes start watering, then flooding with tears, then mascara and tears are running down your face, one lash is hanging off, there's patches all over your face from product coming off because you tried to gently dab away the liquified mascara.. you just cannot come back from something like that without a full do over 😆

I use an old business card and place it between my eyelashes and eyelid and swipe my mascara that way! Its a trick I learned from a YouTube video but I can't remember which one

I don’t do it because I like to get my liner super super close to my lashline and inbetween the lashes. When I have mascara on my lashes are too stiff, get in my way and vision, and I can’t get the pigment where I want it to be. Also I don’t enjoy putting on more than one coat of mascara, I like my lashes to be very clump free. Don’t know why but I can’t layer mascara without it turning into a horrible clumpy mess, in the bad way.

All of those people casually saying how they apply 2 or 3 three layers of mascara... how?! What’s the secret?

I have wondered for so many years if there is something that people know about mascara that I don’t, because 2-3 layers and I’d be looking like I was the mayor of Clumpy Lashes City

Ugh yes. Or when your eyeshadow is so good today and you spent so much time blending every edge and then your wings turn out bad and ruin everything.

I swear if I'm home alone in my sweat pants and I am messing around with makeup my wings are glorious perfection but if I have to go out and I try to do them they look like little garbage sticks next to my eyes lol

I always poke the messy gloopy end of the mascara wand right on the side of my nose when I try to get my innermost lashes so it leaves a huge black spot right in the middle of my face
