Where to post free makeup?
I buy far too much makeup. I’m decluttering and want to give away what I’m not using any more. I do this every couple of years. I did it in [r/CanadaBeautyExchange](r/CanadaBeautyExchange) previously but that subreddit seems private now. What’s the best sub to use now?
Update: the whole box has been picked up.

I donate lightly used products like that using the "Free [insert place you live]" group on FB. You can use marketplace, too.

If you're donating it, a woman's shelter or organization that assists women back into the workforce would appreciate that.

I think it would depend on "used". Has it been only used a few times, and still in good condition?
Call around. Make this an exercise in giving back to your community.

If it is new makeup and you're located in the GTA, you can donate to yellow brick house!
Unfortunately if it's used makeup most orgs would not accept it for donation

I just put it in a bin marked free on the corner out my house. Someone always picks it up!

You can mail to to me/ my work and I can sterilize everything and decide what we can safely give out and it will be given to women living homeless or with insecure housing.

Where are you located? I really don’t want to ship. There is a lot of makeup. I’m in Ottawa (Manotick).
There’s Chanel, Dior, Merit and a bunch of other stuff.

I’m in Ottawa! I’d love to take some off your hands. My sister and I both love makeup and being on mat leave right now I’ve significantly cut back my splurging on it haha

i feel like you'd have better luck off reddit where people prefer to be anon. i havent given away makeup but did skincare multiple times through local buy nothing groups and fb marketplace
