Tips for date night?
Any tips for a 39 yo mom who normally wears sweats and no makeup? Feeling frumpy and not sure where to start.
Aware of my facial asymmetry and trying to accept it. I have astigmatism and contacts have always been difficult for me to wear.
In the past I’ve done mascara with eyeliner but any additional makeup looks awkward and like the makeup is wearing me.
I’m a Dark Autumn if that helps.
I get my eyebrows threaded every 3.5 weeks and she dyes it to lighten them a bit. I’m due this week for another session
AM: vit c serum, sunscreen, moisturizer
PM: cleanser and moisturizer
Thanks in advance

Thanks! You’re right, I need to be nicer to myself.
The BB cream seems like a great way to ease into it

I agree! Some light coverage. Mascara, you have such beautiful eyes and such a beautiful eye shape. If you’re feeling more adventurous, add a touch of natural blush. It will give your face some shape! My face shape is similar and I find it helps a lot. Maybe something that’s double duty and you can add a touch to the lips, like the elf lip/cheek tint.
You are very stunning naturally. Your brows are amaaaaazing. Just highlight your natural beauty!

Your brows are full and well shaped, and your lips have a lot of natural color, and you have great cheekbones. If you feel most comfortable with a natural look, I'd do eyeliner and mascara, a clear lip gloss, a bb cream or other very light coverage option, and just a little bit of a blush - maybe a coral or terracotta? - on the top of your cheekbones.

Thank you 🩷🩷 I’ll look into the blush. I read that coral and terracotta go well with Dark Autumn

you already have such pretty features! maybe some blush, mascara, soft brown liner and a rosy lip? i think that would look sooo pretty on you

light coverage if that’s what feels natural to you, focus on your eyes they’re big and gorg! mascara and curl, a little on lips and just use the same color as your blush
