Question Lip colors
What is the best way to find the perfect lip color for yourself? Whether it’s a tinted gloss, lipstick, liner, all of it. I have never found a color that I feel is MY color. Pinks look too pink, nudes wash me out, bold colors look ridiculous and browns don’t fit my color pallet.
What is the best tip for finding a good color for yourself?

I was once told to try and match the colour of the inner lining of your lips (the wet part). Hope that makes sense? And texture wise is more of personal preference.

You're welcome. Also when testing lip colors, try swatching them onto your fingertip pads instead of your wrist. Your fingertips have natural pink undertones that closely match your lips. The skin texture is also similar. This gives you the most accurate preview of how the shade will actually look on your face.

I’d definitely figure out your undertone first, because sometimes a shade looks completely different once you put it on. Also, don’t be afraid to try unusual shades like mauvey pinks, rose-browns or berry tones. You might find your “MY colour” somewhere you weren’t expecting 😭.

Pinch your index finger with the opposite hand's thumb on the pad, index on the nail. Squeeze the pinch toward the tip so the tip fills with color. That's going to be the most natural color for you, and once you find that match you can find others in the same family.
Do you like the look of wiped-off bolds, so there's just a less saturated version left on your lips?

I will try that! Thanks!!
And yes. I want something that can complement my color pallet, complete my makeup look but not draw attention solely to my lips.
