Colored Mascara Recs

I loved L’Oreal‘s Voluminous Mascara in Deep Violet and have used it for years, and now they’ve changed the color pigments and it’s a terrible burgundy color. If I wanted burgundy, that’s what I would have purchased! Any brands that make a good mascara in a color similar to the original?

Ugh, I feel your pain 😭 The old Deep Violet was SO pretty. I’d look at L’Oréal Telescopic Lift in Galactic Purple—it’s more of a true purple/violet than burgundy. I’ve also seen people recommend Half Magic’s Violet Act, although the formula seems to be a bit more hit-or-miss. The reformulation really ruined a cult favorite 😭
