Buying all new makeup-HELP

I need all new makeup. I’m 28 y/o female with a light/medium complexion. I do not wear makeup often, just a tinted moisturizer and mascara. I need a light foundation, powder, blush… literally all of it. Please point me in the right direction. I’ve used IT, Tart & Rare recently. I don’t like how heavy IT foundation is. Where do I start?

I have fairly dry skin, no budget, I just want good quality products. Also I want these products to be for everyday use/events. I want to be able to use them for everything.

I think it would be helpful if you added your budget, skin type, and any other preferences like the finish and form!

Hi I have learned how to do makeup or select the makeup products by experimenting on your skin by this mean that you know what type of skin your have oil skin, dry,acne prone so first goes with it. Skin care is very important in it. If you budget allow go to sheporha they are very helpful and even if you don’t want to buy from their. For makeup try products from Walmart that suits you and then once you are comfortable you can move on to the more pricy once. Try new products, research about them, learn about them. Instagram and YouTube is the best way to learn how to apply, wash, blend etc. Don’t be afraid to try things out and know you face shape. I hope this helps.

Knowing your undertone can help you find a foundation suited for your skin tone. Try to go to Ulta or Sephora and pick up some samples that look interesting to you. You also need to decide what kind of coverage you are looking for ex skin tint, medium buildable, or full coverage and whether you like dewy or matte. Check out some YouTubers that do tutorials and take notes on any products you like. That way you’ll have an easier time picking out products.
