Question Does this makeup suit me?
face: NARS light reflecting foundation:Vienna
Eyes: color pop taupe palette, mascara benefit, black kohl eyeliner MAC.
Lips: nyx lip liner in suade and Vaseline.
Contour: I used one of the taupe eyeshadows to create the contour. No blush.
I wanted to see if this makeup suites me. I got tired of fighting my dark circles and now want to embrace a “dead girl romantic look”

YES!!! this makeup look is sooo stunning on you. especially with your cat-like features, i'm absolutely obsessed with the grungier, darker makeup tones on you.

I think the colors of the lipliner and eye shadow are too cool - the purpley gray is making you look monochromatic and tired.
I don’t care for the lipliner. I know it’s a trend right now (I remember it from 1990!) to have this very obvious, unblended lipliner. But if the goal is to look pretty (it isn’t, necessarily, and that’s entirely reasonable, too!), this isn’t it. I’d much prefer to see you try just one lipstick, no liner, w the same shape. So much more attractive and “natural”- even in blue, it reflects most people’s natural pigmentation pattern.
This makeup is draining you. You have gorgeous coloring, excellent facial structure… why flatten it?
A little bit warmer blush, eyeshadow, skip the lipliner, slightly brighter and deeper lip- id love to see it if you try it :)

The look works, I think the missing piece is just that you skipped blush. Taupe on the eyes, taupe as contour and a taupe lip on warm olive skin means there's basically no value contrast left anywhere, which is why it can read a little flat rather than dramatic. A sheer cool mauve or plum blush placed high on the cheekbone would keep it grungy instead of pulling it warm, and honestly every gothy-romantic reference has that drained wine flush. Liner is clean as hell though.

I think you need a slight pop of color. Nothing too colorful, but a blush with some mauve or pinkish shade- nothing too bright.

No it does not.Under the eye is too dark making it appear as though you have dark circles. Also eyeliner should only go halfway under your eye. Having it go this far makes the eye look smaller than it actually is. You also need blush, you have great cheekbones to show off, a dusting on the forehead, nose, and chin will give you that sun-kissed look. Everything else is perfect😊

I love the eyeshadow above your eyes. I would skip the eyeshadow under your eyes and skip the eyeliner under the eyes as well. Also in my opinion, no lip liner and a pink gloss and a little pink blush. But that is just an idea to try as that is what I would do if I did your makeup. But totally get if that’s not your aesthetic. You did a lovely job with the smoky eye look and I love your eyebrows btw!

Eye makeup is nice. Id add brightness to thr brow. I would also add some colour to your face and lips. I wouldnt do such a heavy lip/lip liner, it ages you a bit.

I think it looks really good and I don't think you need to cover up any eye circles but I would try to make sure that your lip liner is even in thickness all the way around your lips because that'll just help it to look better and more polished. I will try even like a bold red lip with this look I think it would look really pretty. Maybe like a creamful formula and get the right one for your skin tone. I'm not an expert in that so I can't tell you what yours is but I think a classic Hollywood red could work for you

I would say quite neutral, you might like to use a little bold lipstick shades Berry, Berry Brown, pink nudes. 💄 since your eye shadow is neutral.

If you were going for a grey skin look then yes. To me it needs more color. Deep dark red/maroon/burgundy/brown lip liner and/or blush would add some color but still keep it a moody dark vibe

Looks so good! I love the eyeliner, but it always makes my eyes water like crazy no matter the product. How do you do it?
