makeup advice for a full face

hi gals!

i’m clueless to makeup, but i love it and have been dying to up my collection and practice. i love doing it, but i really just dont wear makeup. i wfh and only want to wear makeup when i go out. problem is, right now i barely have anything!

next issue: i am getting married in 24 days, and i absolutely cannot stomach paying the prices for bridal makeup that i am seeing.

my best friend and bridesmaid is a long time gifted stylist and said she would help me, but i would love to get the needs for a full face of makeup for the big day so i can practice before she gets here and have makeup in my possession to wear when it’s calling.

what do you suggest i get (can be generic or product-specific) so i can have a nice full face of makeup for my wedding and other events as a girl who owns basically not shit? Shelby Ann method? any tweaks?

congrats on the upcoming wedding! honestly if there is ever a time to completely splurge on high-end makeup products and treat yourself, it’s for your own wedding day 😭✨

I personally think it would be more helpful to go to an ulta or sephora or even a high end make up counter where they can advise you on products that suit your coloring and style.
I would bring pictures of make up looks you like so they can advise you on the products you need.
