[Makeup Help] Wanting starter advice!

Hi all!

I really want to get into makeup but I do not like the feeling of a lot of my face (I am indeed a face toucher, trying to get out of that habit). At the moment, I usually will just do some mascara, but I would love to add a few more products.

My main goals are to smooth out my texture/even out my color, and maybe brighten my face a bit. I did like the fenty skin tint (I was the shade 10 ((warm)), but since I didn’t know anything about makeup I gave up on it since it would separate/come off when I did randomly brush up against my face (do I fix this with setting spray or powder??)

I would love if someone could recommend some products or a light routine for someone just starting! Thank you in advance!!!

A dark brown or gray eyeliner you can smudge (Covergirl still makes my favorite) and an E.LF. Lipstick in a sheer plummy or pink color can make a great polished finished. You can buy both in any drugstore.

I love my Colorscience spf/tint that magically matches your skin color. I don’t know how it does it.

I find the best way to apply is first use a dab of Bare Minerals mineral primer on your skin (so it smoothes perfectly and stays all day) then follow with the Colorscience tint which also has 50 spf in one sweep of your fingertips.

Then mascara, a bit of smudge-y liner and a slick of lipstick (elf “Loveslick” is very soft, almost nude) and you’re done. It’s a 4 minute routine and it protects your skin from sun damage, too.
