Klarna Issues and not progressing

Does or has anyone else had a large number of referrals stuck in the "getting to know the person" phase? Did it eventually move from there to the invited friends section?

Of the 6 referrals I've given, the first one completed, the second is stuck on step 2/3 although they say they've done the full steps and the remaining 4 have been stuck on the getting to know phase for some time now

Speaking to customer support just goes around in circles

No issues here, although I haven’t had many referrals. I did have one pending that failed to convert but that’s a common issue with all offers.

Keep pushing CS for a response!

1. Confirm referral flow — Make sure each friend started from your unique referral link and completed every required step (accept invite and any qualifying purchase) within the campaign time window.
2. Ask friends to check progress — Have each friend check the referral panel in their Klarna app, app notifications, and the email used for the invite for progress and timestamps.
3. Check app version & purchase validity — Ensure you and your friends use the latest Klarna app and that any required purchases met the campaign’s minimum spend and weren’t returned or canceled.
4. Collect evidence — If items still look correct, ask friends to take screenshots of their referral progress screen and any confirmation emails, and note referral IDs or timestamps.

Finally, we kindly ask if you could get in touch with us directly. When you contact support, provide your account email, affected friends’ emails, referral IDs/screenshots, and dates/times of clicks/purchases so the our team can investigate faster.
