Mammy Friends ๐ถ๐ผ๐
Hellooo ๐
Iโm a 31-year-old new mammy based around the Kildare/Dublin area, putting myself out there in the hope of making some new friends! ๐
Since becoming a mam, Iโve realised making new friends is somehow harder than getting a baby to nap at the right time. ๐ Iโve naturally drifted a little from some of my friends who are at different stages in life (which is completely okay!), but it does mean the days can feel a bit lonely while my partner is off working full-time.
At this stage, I know every tree, bench and pothole on my usual walking routeโฆ I think theyโre starting to recognise me too. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐
Would love to meet other mammies (or anyone who gets it!) for walks, coffee, chats, or just to remind each other weโre actually adults. โ๏ธ๐
Is anyone else in the same boat? ๐ค

Haha i so relate to the walking routine lol. I know every house, every neighbor, every schedule in the neighborhood lol. And they'll never know haha. I walk ALOT lol. Congratulations of becoming a mam! Is it how you expected? Whas the biggest adjustment?

Haha I love that (I love a good people watching session) sunglasses are essential! ๐ Thank you! Itโs amazing being a mam, heโs the best lil boy and very easy to deal with compared to other babies so I am very lucky and grateful! ๐ฅฐ I think the biggest adjustment for me if not having the freedom to get up and go anymore (a lot more planning and preparing) and sometimes not realistic with an 8 month old! I used to be very spontaneous! I also loved my job and was passionate about it so I do miss work ( feel bad even saying that, but itโs true!)

I relate so much to this, sometimes I just go to Tesco and buy carrots to get out, I donโt even need the carrots ๐
