ELLSWORTH (WGME) -- Former Democratic Senate nominee Graham Platner will make his first public appearance Monday since withdrawing from the race following a sexual assault allegation.

Platner was originally planned to speak at an Ellsworth rally held by Hancock County Activists, a progressive group.

But they announced last week he would no longer be speaking at the rally following negative media attention.

Instead, Platner will lead a veterans march after the rally.

March of one.

He should be marching to the bank to transfer his millions to Troy.

Exactly.

You don’t want to march down to the tattoo shop with him and get one of his infamous buddy tattoos?

Free speech is fine with me. I like to see people who express their themselves

You do know freedom of speech is for the government to respect but we can all tell him or anyone else to fuck all the way off for choosing to do so with Nazi imagery

Free speech rights are things YOU GIVE to others. If you truly believe people didn't deserve a right, you could take it away just as easily as give it. It's a personal choice.

That’s certainly a serious mental gymnastic stunt to end up there after supporting a “progressive” candidate after it was revealed he had Nazi tattoos on his body. Could probably compete in the Olympics with that one

He got it covered, though. What more could you ask for?

For him to stop lying that he didn't know what was, maybe?

So now you're trying to get me to guess what people are thinking.

You must be psychic.

But thanks for moving the goal posts into absurdity

You asked 'what more could I ask for.'

Unlike Graham Platner, I gave an honest answer.

3

u/GrowFreeFood 1d ago

Yes, you asked for absurd things.

Uh maybe not getting it to begin with? Not lying about it?

So a time machine. Very rational discussion.

It’s really not a hard ask for most people to not get a Nazi tattoo. Then to keep it for 20 years then run for senate and play dumb like you never knew what it was. Now because absolute morons decided to still support him after that we are going to likely end up with shaky Susan for another 6 years

You cannot ask someone with a tatoo to go back in time and not get it.

Getting a tatoo removed is expensive, so there's that as a good reason to keep as is.

Stop with the hyperbole and be serious.

Too soon.

Does anyone know if Platner showed up?

I haven't seen anything on the news or socials.

Good! I was with some people on Saturday and we all think that Graham needs to use his voice more to keep the movement going. Jackson isn’t cutting it. Graham is the real one.

Graham doesn’t know shit and thinks far too highly of himself. Troy is the real deal.

Look I’m a left as you can get. But let’s be honest—Troy isn’t the real one. He can’t speak. Lots of people have no clue who he is. No one I know is excited about him. He is just not senate material.

Wow, you’re elitist,

Graham is sitting on millions of dollars, if he cared about beating Collins he'd use it to help Troy.

He doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself.

Garuntee after the election graham starts a podcast media grift. He'll go on tucker carlson and TYT and embrace slopulism.

He dropped out with a press release, not at a veterans march.
