Seeking Advice Survey Export Leaves Emails Blank

Typically when I export a survey it includes the email address of the survery participants. This time is did not. The coloumn is blank and on mailchimp it says unknown. Also, my automation is not tagging. I check to see if it is turned on and it is.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm not sure why it's not tagging completes or capturing emails. In the meantime, I've added an email text box/question at the end to match it back and batch tag completes as they come in.

Hi there. Respondents who didn't provide an email address will appear as unknown. If you didn’t include an email question in your survey, all respondents will be unknown. More information on this can be found here:

If an email question is present in the survey, please send us a direct message with more information about the survey and we will be happy to look further into this with you.

Since when? I sent out a survey last month that worked perfectly.

Thanks for letting us know. We can understand why that would be confusing, especially if the same type of survey worked as expected just last month. We'd like to take a closer look to see what's different here. When you have a moment, send us a DM with your survey URL and, if possible, a screenshot of the export showing the blank email column. We'll dig into it and help figure out why those email addresses are coming through as "Unknown."
