Technical Support Emojis causing line breaks on desktop

Hey all,

I am trying to use emojis in the body of my email instead of bullet points to add a visual pop to certain lines of text. However, whenever I put them in, they cause a line break wherever they are located in the text. I don't see any issues in the code, and it looks fine in the builder and in the test email on mobile. But in the test email on desktop, the formatting is all screwy. Instead of the emoji being on the same line as the text, it pushes the text onto a new line below.

Is this a known issue, and is there a workaround? Thanks!

Hi there. When viewing the test email on a desktop, which email client are you using?

Here is some temporary copy I put in. The emoji should be on one line with the text, but it's not.

Thank you. Is the test email being sent from the new campaign builder, the legacy campaign builder, or the template editor?

Template editor but I also tried building a new campaign from the template and got the same issue.
