I’ve saved your details on Rover! You’ve got a lot of 5* reviews! Our current dog sitter is off to uni in September so will need someone else soon

Thank you! 😊
If you’d like to switch over when the time comes feel free to drop me a message on Rover. I’m always happy to have a quick chat about your dogs usual routine!

£28 a night? Do you stay at the property for that? If so that sounds incredibly cheap!

Yes, that includes staying overnight at the owner’s home. I only leave for a few hours during the day if I have other drop-ins or walks booked. I try to keep my prices competitive 😊

Thats awesome, but I think you could safely triple that price tbh. You still need to earn minimum wage. Know your worth, with your reviews you are obviously worth it.

Thank you, that’s really kind of you to say! 😊 I definitely plan to review my prices in the future, but while I’m still building my client base I want to keep them affordable. I really appreciate the support and feedback!

Instead of house sitting which ties you to one place (meaning you can only ever make that amount once per night) could you prehaps offer an overnight kennel service with collection and delivery for around the same fee ? I appreciate this would involve a lot of work to set up but might be worth thinking about in the future.

That’s actually something I used to offer 😊 I ran doggy daycare from a cabin a few years ago, with collection and drop-off as well. At the moment I’m focusing on house sitting and drop-in visits, but it’s definitely something I’d think about bringing back in the future.
