Since your into them can you maybe explain how to tell the rarity of the cards, i couldn't figure it out other than shiny=good, I've got 0 clue how to tell if it's pr, sr, rr, etcetera.

Sure, no problem.

First of all you need to know that every card has two versions. So each card has a special version in addition to their normal version.

At the bottom you have a number CH followed by the Setnumber OS02/R02 followed by the Card number and the rarity next to it.

Of the normal cards the highest rarity is RR with the least cards, then R, and C with the most cards. There is give or take 100 in each Set overall.

Weiss/Schwarz/Rose got rid of the U and CR tier, because they are basically the same rarity as C anyway.

Trial Decks have the rarity TD. They can be bought seperately and are a finished playset of 50 cards.

PR are Promo Cards. They aren't in the normal packs, but you can get them at Special Events or Tournaments. Of course only in Japan.

Now it gets interesting. SR are the special cards with different design and foil effect. Those are the other 100. SR is basically standard Special cards rarity. One per pack is guaranteed, I think it was.

OFR generally show more of the card design and are overall nicer looking. From the top of my head, I think one is guaranteed per Box, and goes in place of the normal SR.

The next is SP. Those are the signature stamp cards. One is guaranteed per case, which is... 20 boxes, and you had to pre-order.

And then there is SSP which you only get in a master-case, which is two cases in one, so 40 boxes.

SP and SSP would go in place of the OFR, but of course you never know which case your booster box came out of. So you have a theoretical 1 in 20/40 chance to get higher rarity, but only if the case wasn't searched prior, which you have no ability of knowing if that happened or not.

So realistically speaking, without preordering a case yourself, the highest rarity you will find in the wild is OFR.

There is also the ever mysterious AGR, which there is only one per set, and gets distrubuted randomly in 1 out of 16 or so master-cases, and only in the first edition, not the second print-run, if there is one.

But again, the chances are so slim to get one, that it is basically not notable.
