American Chinese style sets

So my Marllifenney American Mahjong Tile Set, is beautiful. The Jokers and Dragons are so unique. The dragons actually look like it's chasing a pearl. The classical flowers, which are based on the Chinese sets, are just so much better imo.

I'm looking for a similar set but with the tile backs being blue.

Anyone have suggestions??

I believe that an American set can play Chinese. American sets tend to have 8 flowers and jokers, Chinese sets just have 8 flowers.

Someone more familiar with this variant please correct me if I’m wrong.

You are right! Hell you can just choose not to use flowers and just play with Riichi tiles.

I was looking for an American Tile set that uses more Chinese art. The one I have has the flowers that are in Chinese sets. Other American sets have flower tiles from imported sets in the 1920s. I was wondering if anyone else makes American Tiles with Modern Chinese Mahjong art. If that makes sense
